Week 1: My Favorite Place

My favorite place has to be the beaches at Galveston, TX. We went there a couple years ago for a vacation. It was my son's first time being at the ocean and it was beautiful. We had so much fun swimming in the ocean and playing on the beach. I lost all my own person pictures from that trip but I still have many great memories about all the fun that we had.

    Such a great place, Stephanie! I have so many fond memories from my childhood of going to the gulf coast (I was born in Austin) - we would go to Galveston or Padre Island; as a little kid I did not appreciate a beautiful sunset like in that picture, but I sure did love to play in the sand. And how nice to think of a sunny, warm place on a freezing day like today: wonderful! Thank you! :-)
